Android N comes with a lot of new features which include:-

1)    Quick settings :-  Android 7 has some more quick setting options. Google has added new System UI Tuner options for fast settings like Night Mode and offered developers the ability to create their own custom icon as they would like. You will find more setting options once you slide the notification panel down.  You will find up to nine toggles in a single setting and you can access more of the toggles by swiping to the right.

2)    Split-screen mode:- This operating system will allow users to open two apps in split-screen mode on nexus devices as well as on other smartphones and tablets. For instance, now users can watch a video on Youtube while using facebook, or can keep tweeting. It means they can use two apps at the same time.

Android Doze will work not only when the phone is not in use, but also when the screen is turned off. It will also extend the battery life of google operating system, as battery is a major problem in Android phones.

7)      Dark Mode is back:- Following its removal form the Android M preview launched last year, a lot of us have been waiting a long time to see the return of a dark mode in stock Android. The Google has made it worth the wait though, by not just offering a dark system-wide theme, but also adding some cool new features too, like tint control to limit the amount of blue light in your display. Night Mode can be enabled automatically at certain times of day and there’s an automatic brightness limiting option as well.

8)    Improvement in Optimising apps:-  In Android operating system whether it could be Lollipop, Kitkat or Marshmallow, the main problem is to install apps and to restart the device, which takes a lot of time. But this problem is solved with the new Android 7. The device will restart faster and apps will take less time to load.
